On the first page of Pete Monacelli’s book, Origins,” he defines “origin” as “The point or place where something begins, arises or is derived. Source, inception and root.” With verse, Casin paint and ballpoint pen he shares, over 94 spreads, some his origins. It is an astonishingly beautiful book, too good to sit in a drawer in his studio. I offered to create an eBook version and it is available here as a free download.

  1. I download this great looking book on my Chromebook, but the chromebook says it is too big for me open.

    I will try my computer.

  2. Louise, your Chromebook must be full of other great files. The book is in the generic ePub format. Should open in the reader on your computer. Report back, I think you will like it.

  3. Great that you were able to reproduce “Origins”. You did a beautiful file of the book. I felt like I was reading the original. And thanks Peter for sharing the book.
