Obiturary: in Rochester Times Union Newspaper: Tuesday, September 13, 1932:

WHOLAHAN: Francis J. Wholahan died Tuesday morning at Saint Mary's Hospital. He is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Thomas Morton of Adams, Mass., Mrs. L. J. Dodd of this city, Mrs. Francis Reynolds of Coldwater, N.Y.
The body was removed to the residence of his sister, Mrs. L. J. Dodd, 107 Burlington Avenue and the funeral will take place Thursday morning, Sept. 15, 1932 @ 8:30 from the house & 9:00
o'clock from Our Lady of Good Counsel Church. Internment @ Holy Sepulcher Cemetery in family lot.

Francis J. Wholahan____Funeral services for Francis J. Wholahan were conducted this morning @ 8:30 o'clock @ the Church of Our Lady of Good Council . Mass was celebrated by the Rev. Charles Reynolds, assisted bythe Rev. Edward Meagher as deacon and the Rev. Hubert Bisky as sub-deacon. In the sanctuary were the Revs. John Bresnihan, John B. Sullivan & Leonard Kelly. The bearers were William J. Bell, Leo J. McDonald, Harry McNiff, Cornelius F. Collins, Edward O'Brien, Raymond Welch. A delegation from the Knights of Columbus consisting of Paul Predmore, Edward Bassett, Joseph Shale and Charles Zugelder attended the service. Burial was in Holy Sepulcher Cemetery wher the final blessing was pronounced by the Fathers Meagher and Reynolds.
