EJECTED HIS FAMILY
Adam Eisenberg Created A Big Disturbance in the Neighborhood
....”Adam Eisenberg, of Henrietta Avenue, became ntoxicated Wednesday afternoon and did all sorts of queer and disrespectful things to his sister and aged mother. Eisenberg is about fifty years of age, and is a famillar police court character.
This unnatural son does not live with his sister and mother, but usually pays them a visit when intoxicated. These visits are not as a rule very pleasant experiences for the women, and when he appeared Wednesday and demanded admittance, the inmates of the house were loath to grant it. He soon gained his end, however, and when once in the house demanded that his mother give him assistance, as he was in need of money. This she refused to do, which fact caused Adam to break forth into loud cursings and threats to break the furniture. Several neighbors arrived on the scene, and witnessed what followed. Adam picked up a chair and with it raised overhead, drov the family out of doors. He then departed down the street for a saloon. There he started to repeat the scene at the house, but was interrupted by the arrival of Oficer Ingalls.
Adam was taken to the station in the patrol wagon, and locked up overnight. When arraigned in police court yesterday morning, he was fined $10, or sentenced to serve ten days in the penitentiary.”

ABUSED HIS AGED MOTHER
Adam Eisenberg Arrested @ His Home on Henrietta Street:
“A brutal attack upon a defenseless woman 80 years old came to light yesterday afternoon when Adam Eisenberg, who is no stranger to the police, was arrested for assaulting his mother, Christina, at their home @ No. 4 Henerietta Street. Word was received at the Second Precinct Station at 1 o’clock in the afternoon that an officer was wanted at once on Henrietta Street. Officer Schwartz was sent from the station and found the woman in the street outside her home, while the son was inside breaking the furniture.
Adam who is 48 years old, entered the house shortly after 12 o,clock, while drunk, and demanded money with which to buy beer. This his mother refused to give him and reproached him for his intemperate habits. Thoroughly enraged, the son grabbed his mother by tjhe hair and dragged her about the room, varying this humane performance by kicking her. As soon as she could free herself from the maddend man’s grasp, the woman, with blood streaming down her face, ran into the house of a neighbor and begged protection. Neighbors then telephoned for the police.
When Officer Schultz reached the house Adam was venting his rage on the furniture. He smashed up everything breakable in the house. The policeman induced the old woman to place her son under5 arrest. This she did. Adam did not relish this turn of affairs and put up a stiff fight before the officer subdued him and placed him in the patrol wagon which had been summoned. Eisenberg spends most of his time getting drunk and fighting. He has been arrested times without number for both offenses “

The Rochester lists a Mrs. Mary Eisenberg as follows:
1928...........Eisenberg, Mary. A. Widow of Adam....Residence...Home...14 Edmonds Street
This is the fist listing of Mary as a widow.....she had been listed as Mrs. Eisenberg since 1904. so I assumed from this that Adam died in 1927.....but I have no confirmation of this so far.
