It was so good to see Skylark Lounge packed last night for Rochester Rapid Response Network’s (RRRN) fund raiser and dance party. But the bar was so crowded it was tough to get a beer. The pop trio, Missu Kissu played a set and WAYO’s Kyle Brown spun 45s. We told him how much we love his Sunday afternoon show and we hung out behind him in the dj booth for the rest of the night, chatting about 45s. Kelley, a friend of his, was back there as well and he told us about a fabulous store in Detroit that has hundreds of boxes of soul 45s. We hatched a plan get together and each bring a stack of singles to play.
